Suggestions for future updates - Tattoo Numbers & Enquiry Forms

Hi there,

I have 2 suggestions, not necessarily related to the new app, but more on the whole software, that I have thought of.

  1. Tattoo Numbers for Litters.
    In adult dogs you are able to add both the Microchip Number and Tattoo Number to the detail screen. However it does not seem like you are able to add both for a puppy from the litter screen. Maybe a good consideration to add, and also to allow for the Tattoo number to be added to the contract.
    I have been adding the tattoo number as one of the “registration” options, but then it doesn’t pull through the same to your adult dog if you keep the puppy.
  2. Separate enquiry forms for separate waiting lists.
    I have 2 separate waiting lists, as I have 2 breeds. Currently, you can only have 1 enquiry form, which works ok, as I just have a field where people select their breed. However, it would be nice if I were able to include Breed Specific questions in my enquiry form, which, if I do it now, will confuse most people enquiring. It would be handy if I could create seperate enquiry forms for the different waiting lists.

None of these are urgent - just suggestions that would make working a bit easier.
Still loving the software and using it daily.

  1. Yes this makes sense, and we’re making a change you’ll be able to see on mobile already where all the dog details will be accessible from the puppy. We will bring that to web too. Dynamic details on a contract is also a good idea. Just to clarify the last bit on point 1, do you mean that you’ve been storing data in a registration field on a puppy but it gets lost along the way? We’d like to investigate and fix this if you can send us an example to support@dogbreederpro.com please.

Note, because there is no field for the Tattoo number in “Edit Puppy”, I added it as a registration type, so it still shows on the contract.

Note. The Tattoo number previously added via the litter view, still shows in the registration field, but not in the Tattoo Number Field. This has to then be manually changed.

As I said, not a huge issue, but would be great to include the field in the EDIT PUPPY view.

Thank you, it makes a lot of sense!

We’ve just released a change. You can now add the tattoo number on the puppy edit form, and you can also add the tattoo number on the contract. I hope this saves you some time and effort until we do the multiple application forms too :slight_smile:
