Hi, the recent additional of templates for To Do Lists is really great and we have been using this to great effect with current litters. If it’s not already under consideration I would love to see the ability to have templates linked to litter due dates and apply tasks as x number of days before the due date? This would enable tasks to be added which need to be done in the lead up to a litter being born, not just after the litter is born (eg. add expected litter to website/socials, contact shortlist, pre-whelp groom, pre-whelp x-ray, increase food intake, set up whelping area etc). It seems like using the due date for a confirmed litter only might be the best thing to anchor this off as forecast due dates for future litters based on heat cycles etc can change significantly and anchoring tasks/dates based on this would probably be unreliable and ineffective.

Additionally, it might be useful to be able to anchor task templates off a dogs date of birth - we would use this to ensure tasks are added for photo shoots, hip & elbow x-rays, writing/publishing profiles etc.

These may be on the list already but just wanted to add them in case they weren’t and many thanks again for the continued improvements and great software :slight_smile:

Thank you for this request. The template checklist for before the litter is born is definitely on our list of things to build. Realistically, this is something we will add only after we’ve moved everything to the new web version.

The second request for the to-do items anchored to a dog’s birth date, does this not work as a to-do item added for “each puppy” on the Litter checklist? Or would this be for a dog that is not a puppy?

For puppies born via a breeder’s litter this would work but for a puppy or dog obtained via means other than bred by the breeder (eg. purchased, puppy swap etc) it would need to anchor off the dog record. This is probably not a super high priority but if it easy enough to add at the same time as the due date anchor that would be great. Many thanks :folded_hands:
